I started quilting many years ago doing small seasonal wallhangings, T-shirt quilts for
members in the community, and quilt tops for myself. I purchased my first longarm
quilting machine in 2001, a Nolting 18”, mainly as a way to finish my own tops and T-
shirt quilts for customers. I enjoyed machine quilting so much I started quilting for a
small handful of customers in my local area. A few years later, as my customer base
grew, I upgraded my longarm to a Nolting PRO Longarm Quilting Machine. This
longarm machine has many additional features that allow me to do a more
professional job. Another area I love is the creativity and true accomplishment of
designing a quilt, cutting a kit and writing the instructions, and finishing one of my
creations on the longarm.
Sharing my passion is a top priority, and a few of the ways I do that is to host a quilt
club in my home, judge quilt shows as requested, and maintain membership in the
National Quilting Association, the International Machine Quilters Association, and the
American Quilters Society. I also participate in the Ohio Longarm Quilter's Group.
